The Supply Chain Management Post-Baccalaureate Diploma or Certificate programs focus on various aspects of business operations and prepare graduates for leadership positions that can contribute to the operational efficiency of a company. The students apply a depth of knowledge of management and analytical systems; design and implement a purchasing process including identification of demand, selecting potential suppliers, leading a bidding process, and negotiating and administering contracts; use a variety of statistical models/tools and demonstrate creative and strategic thinking in planning, implementing and supervising within a team context. 

The two-year VanWest Commerce and Marketing Co-op Diploma program focuses on the fundamental principles of business and gives graduates hands-on skills to gain employment in the commerce and marketing sector. It incorporates current business concepts and real-life examples to illustrate a global view of the corporate commerce and marketing environment. Career opportunities after graduation include the positions of a technical sales representative, an advertising assistant, a sales planning manager, a marketing coordinator, a digital marketing manager, a product manager, and many others.

VanWest Business Management Co-op Diploma program provides students with practical skills and strategies as well as specialized knowledge required to be an effective leader. They acquire a well-rounded set of essential skills necessary to guide businesses towards meeting their strategic goals. Learners also develop broad skill sets that may be applied to management, marketing, accounting, communication, and leadership.

The Hospitality Management Co-op Diploma program at VanWest College provides students with the knowledge and employment skills in various areas such as front desk management, housekeeping, and food and beverage management. Special attention is paid to customer service, communication, revenue management, and attention to detail, identified through industry consultation. The graduates can work as front desk clerks, executive housekeepers, food and beverage servers, get support occupations in accommodation, travel, and facilities set-up services.

VanWest Professional Customer Support Co-op Certificate program teaches students how to maximize their customer service skills and improve overall customer and business relationships, how to implement strategies to communicate effectively in diverse work environments. Upon graduation, students can successfully begin their career as customer service professionals, guest service representatives, retail salespersons, medical customer service representatives, inside sales representatives, restaurant service providers, client service providers, operations and customer support, and many others.

The Cross-Cultural Business Communication Diploma or Certificate programs at VanWest College prepare students for entry-level employment in culturally diverse workplaces where English is the primary language. They learn to understand the impact of culture in the workplace, improve communication skills, and practice resume writing, interview, and job-search skills. Career opportunities after graduation include the positions of an administrative assistant, a front desk agent, a tourist information clerk, a sales representative, a customer service representative, a call center agent, a hospitality services provider, or a tourism services provider.

A wide range of VanWest English Language programs can meet the demands of every individual. The English as a Second Language program develops students` skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing as well as other sub-skills, such as grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and strengthens their oral and written English skills. They are also taught how to apply strategies for language learning from beginner to advanced levels. 

The General English program at VanWest has eight levels and is based on an integrated skill curriculum. Morning classes are focused on specific strategies to improve English and afternoon elective courses reinforce students` core language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

English for Academic Purposes at VanWest College combines a series of challenging courses that prepare learners in core subject areas that are generally encountered in academic settings. The program covers a variety of relevant and interesting topics and provides a solid foundation of language skills to help prepare students for high stakes official exams such as IELTS or CAE. 

VanWest Linguaskill Business program is an excellent choice for students who plan to use English for business or the workplace. They receive pre-tests and the official test is offered at the college every four weeks. It is worth mentioning, that VanWest College is the only official Linguaskill Business test provider in Canada. The English for Exam Preparation program, the English for Presentation or Social Media programs, the English for Marketing and Sales program, the English for Engineering program, the English and Volunteering Experience program, the English for Youth program, the English for Families program, the High School Bridge program, the English Group Study and Tours, One-to-One lessons and Career Preparation Summer Camps are also available at VanWest College.
