The Language Gallery

The Language Gallery is a private educational institution in Canada that offers high-quality language courses and programs, ensuring the immersion experience of international students. Each English class has a theme-based, integrated skills approach. Hence, vocabulary and grammar exercises always lead to reading and listening tasks. Consequently, international students understand a topic deeper and improve their writing and speaking skills.

The General English Program at the Language Gallery helps international students improve their overall English skills. The classes focus on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary skills development. Moreover, the program is built on your existing language knowledge to help you achieve your aims or prepare you for academic or work-related activities.

The Business English Program is developed for non-native English speakers who use English in their daily working lives. Students will improve their ability to take part in conversations, meetings, negotiations and writing business emails. After the completion of the course, you will have the skills and confidence to participate in international workplace situations.

The Language Gallery also prepares international students for IELTS, TOEFL and CELPIP tests. These are internationally recognized English proficiency examinations for academic, work-related and immigration purposes. Teachers will prepare you to take any of these tests, which all differ in content and requirements.

The Teacher Training Excellence Program for ESL Learners prepares qualified teachers or English speakers to teach English as a Second or Foreign language. The course offers a solid foundation of adult learning theories, the nature and specifics of adult learners, teaching methodology and lesson planning.

The University Pathway Program (UPP) is developed to prepare international students for academic studies at Canadian colleges or universities. You will get the key skills required for studying in English at an undergraduate or postgraduate level, as well as receive regular assessments and consultations.

Admission Requirements in The Language Gallery

The courses at the Language Gallery start every two weeks on Mondays. If you want to apply to one of the English programs, you have to follow four steps.

  1. You need to complete the English Assessment, pay the application fee of 150 CAD, and apply online or by email.
  2. You should receive your study plan from the counsellor at the Language Gallery.
  3. You ought to submit all required documents that include a copy of your passport and registration form.
  4. You need to get a Letter of Acceptance from the Language Gallery and fully pay for your language program 14 days before the intake.

If you wish to attend the University Pathway Program of the Language Gallery, you have to follow a slightly different admission process.

  1. You ought to pass the English Assessment and book a speaking test with one of the instructors.

Fees for International Students in The Language Gallery

The tuition fees at the Language Gallery depend on the type of the program and the number of lessons per week. For instance, the General English Program, IELTS/TOEFL Preparation Program, the University Pathway Program, and Business English Program cost from 95 CAD to 420 CAD per week. The school also offers individual lessons that cost 85 CAD per hour. Group courses cost from CAD 250 to 345CAD per week.

The Junior Summer Camp costs from 2,500 CAD to 5,550 CAD,  the Junior Winter Camp costs from 2,600 CAD to 4,200 CAD. The price depends on the number of weeks and the type of accommodation. If you want to rent the books at the Language Gallery, it costs 60 CAD, and 40 CAD of them is refundable. If you want to buy books, it costs 120 CAD. International students must also have medical insurance that costs 20 CAD per week.

The Language Gallery offers accommodation services for international students. The accommodation placement fee is 200 CAD. The homestay option costs from 245 CAD to 310 CAD per week, while the residence costs 450 CAD per week. Additionally, the Language Gallery has a transfer pick-up service that costs 120 CAD and transfer drop-off that costs 110 CAD.

The Language Gallery offers an outstanding education along with fun group activities outside the classrooms.
