St.Clair College was founded in Windsor, Ontario, in 1966. Recently it has been ranked as one of the most popular colleges in the province. Its main and the largest campus is located in Windsor, other campuses are in Chatham and Wallaceburg. Since 2004 more than one million CAD was added in academic upgrades, including  classroom technology,  new computer labs, and study spaces. A new Student Center expansion gave lots of comfortable space for studying and meeting other students, making it one of the most favorite locations on campus.

Every year St.Clair College serves more than 8,500 full-time and 20,000 part-time learners on three of its campuses. It is worth mentioning, that St.Clair College is also known for high provincial ratings, with an employer satisfaction of 88.7% and an 84% graduate employment rate - one of the best in the province of Ontario.

Aimed at international students, St.Clair`s  College English as a Second Language program is accredited by Languages Canada, that`s why language instruction received here often leads to acceptance into the College's post-secondary and post-graduate programs. The institution also has articulation agreements with other popular language schools in Toronto and across Canada including the Ace Acumen Academy, Bouchereau Lingua International Inc., the English School of Canada, the Global Village English Centres, the Great Lakes College of Toronto, the King George International College, PGIC, the Quest Language Studies, St. George International College, Study English in Canada Inc., the Upper Madison College. 

St.Clair College’s English for Academic Purposes Certificate program provides an intensive, full-time pathway with an academic focus. The curriculum is designed to help non-native speakers of English to improve their writing, communication, critical thinking skills, and cultural competency. After a Level Placement Test, incoming students see which level is the best for their progress. Most importantly, this preparatory program offers direct entry to most post-secondary programs at St.Clair College after the successful completion of Levels 7 and 8, with no additional tests of English language proficiency required.

St.Claire College consists of eight academic schools: the School of Academic Studies, the Zekelman School of Business and Information Technology, the School of Community Studies, the School of Engineering Technologies, the School of Health Sciences, the School of Media, Art and Design, the School of Nursing, and the School of Skilled Trades. All of them offer more than a hundred Full-time, Part-time programs, online courses, Continuing Education programs, Corporate Training, Apprenticeships, and In-Service Teacher Training.

The College provides Bachelor's degree programs like the Bachelor of Science in Nursing,  the Bachelor of Science and Medical Laboratory Science, the Bachelor of Applied Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, and Automotive Product Design, the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Education, and Early Childhood Education, the Bachelor of Applied Technology in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Automotive Product Design programs.

The Liberal Arts and Sciences programs at St. Claire College include Academic and Career Entrance, College and Employment Preparation, English as a Second Language, General Arts and Science, Health Foundations, Pre-Business, Pre-Health Science, Pre-Nursing and Pre-Technology programs. Health Sciences at St. Claire College are represented by the Concurrent Bachelor of Science or Medical Laboratory Science program, Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory, Paramedic, Personal Support Worker, Pharmacy Technician, Practical Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, and Veterinary Technician programs.

The Business and Information Technology programs cover the areas of Business Administration, Computer Systems Technology, International Business, Office Administration, Business Accounting, Mobile Applications Development, Internet Applications, and Web Development. 

St.Claire College Engineering Technologies programs are Architecture, Biomedical Engineering Technology, Chemical Laboratory, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, and Power Engineering.

The Community Studies programs available are Child and Youth Worker, Autism and Behavioral Science, Developmental Service Worker, Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Education, Law Clerk, and Law and Security Administration, Native Early Childhood Education, Native Community Worker,  Community, and Justice Services, Restorative Justice Practices.

The School of Media, Art, and Design at St.Clair College offers programs in Advertising, Animation, Entertainment Technology, Graphic Design, Hospitality Management, Interior Design, Journalism, Music Theatre Performance, and Tourism and Travel.

The Apprenticeship programs, and Skilled Trades programs like Culinary Management, Electrical Techniques, Esthetician, Hairstylist, Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning, Horticulture, Motive Power Technician, Welding, and Woodworking are also available at St.Clair College.

The institution provides its students with perfect residential facilities in Windsor and in Chatham. The Windsor Residence offers 204 two-bedroom suites that are completely furnished and include a kitchenette with microwave and mini-fridge. The students also get access to cable TV, 24/7 security, common lounge areas, laundry facilities. A short walk to class is another important benefit to consider. The Chatham Residence is located right on campus and each of its 12 units offers four bedrooms, a full kitchen, a living room, and two bathrooms. The price for on-campus residence accommodation is 6,500 CAD per year (8 months), meals are not included.
