For teens aged 13-16 years old, Sprott Shaw Language College will be offering virtual camps with a fun, engaging, and dynamic program during all summer months. Winter Camps are also available for teenagers aged 13 to 18 in Vancouver and Victoria campuses. Their minimal duration is two weeks and the maximum is four, with 25 hours of English classes per week. Levels open for registration are Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced with an ESL Certificate at the end of the course.
English for the Children and Families program at Sprott Shaw Language College makes it convenient and easy for the whole family to study English in Vancouver. Children explore English in an immersion environment and their parents can choose courses from SSLC’s comprehensive adult English programs or from other Diploma and Certificate programs available at the VIC Career Campus.
SSLC Global Leaders Summer Camp offers participants an opportunity to stay in the world-renowned University of British Columbia residence, develop leadership skills, and experience unforgettable adventures. The Camp includes 12 hours of English classes, 9 hours of English Clubs, and four outings per week, evening and weekend games, activities and competitions, Rocky Mountain tour, and Official TOEFL Jr Test and Score available for Teen groups.
The SSLC University Pathway Program is currently offered as a virtual class that lasts from four to eight weeks. Its advantages include no need for TOEFL, IELTS, or any other official test score to gain entry into selected colleges and universities affiliated with SSLC; a wide variety of college-level curriculum topics covered in each module; academic learning and intensive reading and writing practice; monthly tests, feedback, and academic counseling to evaluate students` progress. An additional benefit is monthly school tours and information sessions with a variety of universities and colleges open for SSLC graduates.

Sprott Shaw Language College- Pathway Program
The Preparatory Pathway program is a General English course that focuses on the development of students` English language skills as quickly and effectively as possible to aid with the transition to other SSLC Pathway Programs. The Integrated Pathway Bridging program at Sprott Shaw Language College is an intensive preparation program for those who wish to enter a post-secondary institution. Its duration is 36 weeks during which students explore speaking, organizing, summarizing, and note-taking skills. Intermediate English for Post-Secondary Education is another intensive academic preparation program at SSLC. It is designed for those learners who wish to improve their academic English or prepare for IELTS.
SSLC Specialized programs include SSLC Connect National Geographic, Medical English, Communication for Cabin Crew Training, Power Speaking and Modern Media, English Through Translation, Business English, and IELTS Preparation.
Sprott Shaw Language College also offers Career programs at its VIC Campus. The choice includes the Global Business Expertise Diploma or Certificate program, the Customer Service Professional Diploma program, the intensive eight-week Interpreting, and Translation-Korean Diploma program, and the popular TESOL Certificate program.
