The first international campus of Lambton College, Jilin University-Lambton College (JLU-LC), is located in Changchun, Jilin Province, China. It offers various study programs, such as Hospitality and Tourism Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Banking, Management Information Systems, International Business, Automotive Industry Management. The second international campus, Southern Yangtze University-Lambton College (SYU-LC), is located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China.

Lambton College is a popular educational institution, known for its diploma and graduate courses of two-year duration. The school offers more than 90 study programs in eight study fields. Diploma programs at Lambton College are available in the most popular subjects such as Business, Computer Programming, and Technician Training. More than 40 graduate-level part-time and full-time study courses are available in Business Management, Human Resource Management, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics.

Admission Requirements

If you consider studying at Lambton College, you need to learn more about its admission process. International students need to apply online and upload all required documents with the application.

1. You should apply to the school via the site ontariocolleges.ca and fill an online application form.
2. You have to provide official copies of high school/post-secondary transcripts, diplomas, or degrees.
3. You should provide a letter of recommendation.
4. You have to submit a copy of your passport.
5. You need to sign the Notice of Disclosure form.
6. You should pay the mandatory non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of 150 CAD payable by MasterCard or VISA.
7. You have to pass the TOEFL or IELTS as proof of English language proficiency. International students are required to have an overall IELTS score of 6.0 for undergraduate programs and 6.5 for graduate programs. If you pass TOEFL, you need to have at least a score of 69 to apply for undergraduate and graduate programs at Lambton College. As a rule, students with higher English language test scores are given priority during the admission assessment. Applicants from India can pass only IELTS as proof of English language proficiency.

If international students do not meet the English language proficiency requirements, they have to enroll in the English for Academic Purposes program in the first term of their study program at Lambton College.

3. You need to submit the statement of purpose for Canada. It is a 1,000-1,500-word long essay, where you should tell who you are, what your academic qualifications are, and why you have to be admitted to the study program.

International students who have completed bachelor’s degrees in related fields are eligible to apply to these study programs. Lambton College has three intakes in winter, summer, and fall. Still, international students have to check the deadlines for their study program of choice since not all programs are available in all three intakes. The application periods for each session are from March 1 to June 30 in winter, from November 1 to February 28 in fall, and from July 1 to October 31 in summer. However, international applicants must not wait until the deadlines since the majority of applications close early due to the bulk of applications received. It is better to apply as early as possible, though early applications do not guarantee admission to Lambton College.
