The Institute of Technology Development of Canada also known as ITD CAnada is a private educational institution that offers high-quality career training programs. ITD Canada has four schools: School of Art, School of Business, School of IT, and School of Hospitality. The School of Art offers international students to attend Graphic Design and Interior Design programs. The ITD Canada School of Business has three study programs: Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, and Sustainable Business Management.
School of IT has the following programs: Open-Source Web Development, Network Administration, Graphic and Web Development, E-commerce, General Programming, Game Programming, and Embedded Programming. ITD Canada School of Hospitality offers only one study program: Hospitality Management. By the way, each program at the Institute of Technology Development of Canada has a co-op option, except the Sustainable Business Management course.
ITD Canada also offers individual programs. ITD Fashion study programs include Balancing Makeup, Draping, Fabric and Textiles, Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Garment Construction, History of Fashion, Jewellery Beading, Jewellery Design by Computer, Sewing Fundamentals.
Software study programs available at ITD Canada include Advanced Linux Administration, Basic Operating System Concepts, Introduction to Adobe After Effects, Introduction to Adobe Premiere, Introduction to Catia, Introduction to Corel Draw, Introduction to Direct3D, Introduction to Macro Media Flash, Introduction to MATLAB, Introduction to SolidWorks, Introduction to Vray, Modelling and Simulation with MATLAB.
Programming study programs at ITD Canada include Audio Programming for Computer Games, Introduction to Linux, Network Game Programming, Programming Characters and Animation, Programming Games for Android, Programming Games for iPhone and iPad, Real-Time GPU Programming, Shader Programming for Games, Tools Programming for Games.
Health and Safety courses available at ITD Canada include Food Safe Level 1, Health, Safety and Environment Documents, Health, Safety and Environment Management in a Contract, Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Health, Safety and Environment Risk Management, Health, Safety and Environment Diploma Level 1, Health, Safety and Environment Hazards and Controls.

Admission Requirements: ITD Canada
Institute of Technology Development of Canada has admission requirements that international students must meet to be eligible for program acceptance. First, students have to provide original or official copies of all transcripts and credentialing documents to prove that they meet the study program admission requirements. Second, international students need to follow the six-step application process.
- You have to pass the admissions interview. It aims to explore your interests since they relate to the offered programs, identify an appropriate area of study, and provide additional information about the study program and support services available at the ITD Canada. The interview can be conducted in person, via telephone, email, video-enabled devices or using any smartphone app.
- You need to complete a Canadian high school, be a Grade 12 graduate, or be an adult being 19 years old.
- You should complete a separate Application Form and sign the Enrollment Agreement. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian is also required to sign these forms.
- You must pay a 350 CAD non-refundable application fee. The non-refundable application fee for English courses is 100 CAD.
- Since English may not be your first language, you are required to provide proof of English language proficiency. Institute of Technology Development of Canada accepts IELTS, TOEFL, or CAE test scores. You can also provide Canadian High School Diploma, English 12 graduation certificate from a Canadian high school, Canadian LINK or ELSA program certificate, or pre-Intermediate certificate from a Languages Canada accredited school.
You can prove your language proficiency by demonstrating that you have spent at least two years studying in a secondary, post-secondary or higher education school where English is a medium of instruction. To demonstrate your English language proficiency, you can also pass the English Assessment Test of the ITD Canada.
- If you want to receive advanced standing in a study program, you must submit an official post-secondary transcript to the Institute of Technology Development of Canada before the first day of class.
In case international students cannot meet the English Language Proficiency requirements, they will be required to complete the College’s English Assessment Test at the Institute of Technology Development of Canada. International students must pass the test at the pre-intermediate level to be eligible to apply to non-English as a Second Language (ESL) study programs. International applicants, who do not meet the requirements of English language proficiency, are required to take the ESL study program before applying to one of the study programs.
Fees for International Students in ITD Canada

The Graphic Design and Interior Design programs with co-op cost 20,700 CAD per year. The Accounting and Finance, Business Administration programs with co-op also cost 20,700 CAD per year. All study programs with co-op at the School of IT cost 22,000 CAD per year, the Hospitality Management study program costs 20,700 CAD per year.
The study programs without co-op at the ITD Canada cost from 18,850 CAD to 20,150 CAD per year. The Sustainable Business Management study program costs 10,850 CAD per year. The English as a Second Language (ESL) courses cost 2,400 CAD per year.

The Academic and Career Advising Office helps international students to select the right program and course, gives information on the job market, organizes resume writing and interview techniques workshops. The College Achievement Program at the Institute of Technology Development of Canada focuses on student success by supporting academic and life skill development through tutors, study skills workshops, and organization skills sessions. ITD also offers its international students two pathway programs to the British Columbia Institute of Technology and University Canada West.
