Manitoba Work Experience Pathway is suitable for candidates who currently work in the province with temporary work permits, including temporary foreign workers, and international students, who have Manitoba or out-of-province education. The stream has two pathways: Manitoba Express Entry Pathway and Human Capital Pathway. To apply for immigration to Manitoba under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, foreigners need to score at least 60 points in the admission criteria.
The Manitoba Express Entry Pathway is designed for candidates who have high human capital related to Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations List and a strong family connection to Manitoba. For immigration to Manitoba under the pathway, foreigners should meet the following requirements.
- They need to provide a valid Express Entry number and Job Seeker Validation Code.

When applicants meet the conditions of their Business Performance Agreement, they can apply for immigration to Manitoba. The pathway has the following admissibility criteria.
- Foreigners must sign a Business Performance Agreement, submit a business plan, and run a business as a senior manager for at least six months on a valid temporary work permit. They also need to own at least 51% of the business.
- Applicants should be 21-35 years old, meet CLB Level 7, and complete at least a two-year full-time post-secondary program in Manitoba.

Business Investor Stream
The Business Investor Stream allows Manitoba to recruit and nominate qualified foreign business investors and entrepreneurs who have the intent and ability to start or purchase businesses in the province and want to apply for immigration to Manitoba. The stream has two pathways: Entrepreneur Pathway and Farm Investor Pathway.
The Entrepreneur Pathway is launched for applicants who want to open a business in the province. To qualify for immigration to Manitoba, foreigners need to fulfill the following requirements.
- They must have at least three years of full-time work experience within five years as an active business owner or a senior manager. Business owners must have no less than 33 1/3% ownership. By the way, business owners get higher points compared to senior managers.
