Flair College of Management and Technology (FCMT) began its history in 1996 in Vaughan, Ontario. Firstly known as Liaison College, in 2005 it was registered as a private career college and changed its name to Flair College of Management and Technology. All of its programs are now approved as vocational programs abiding by provincial regulations. 

FCMT sees innovation and creativity as core elements of any curriculum and describes its task as delivering relevant programs in high demand career pathways. Flair College is known as a pioneer and a leader in the Culinary Arts training industry in Ontario. The institution also has developed popular training in Business Studies and Language. Today, the number of its programs is continuously growing and addresses the need for an affordable comprehensive college experience with the opportunity for the development of the mind, body, and spirit in an inclusive atmosphere. Flair College of Management and Technology provides a wide range of long-term and short-term Certificate, Diploma, or Post Graduate Diploma programs. They are the most suitable for the applicants who want to become office administrators, supervisors or managers, personal chefs, entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs, or even open their own business. Most importantly, FCMT programs are intense, yet affordable for the majority of students who want to achieve their career dreams in Canada.

FCMT is known for its Culinary Programs. The Cook Basic programs (Level 1 and Level 2) are both intensive 300-hour courses that are focused on the theory and practice of cooking. The Second Level also covers traditional and modern advanced culinary techniques with information on establishing a restaurant business. Traditionally, the emphasis is placed on quality, creativity, and presentation.

The Chef De Cuisine Diploma program is designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the food industry at Executive, Executive Sous, and Sous Chef levels. The 84-week intensive and comprehensive Diploma program in Culinary and Hospitality Operations Management prepares students for the basic culinary and restaurant management tasks. Enriched with progressive to advanced culinary theory and practicum, the course focuses on the front of the house in Hospitality Administration. The intensive Diploma program in Hospitality Administration lasts 20 weeks and also provides students with the knowledge necessary for a successful career in this sphere. The Personal Chef Diploma Program is designed to prepare the attendees for the technical side of running their own culinary business. This course includes business management skills, marketing, and is based on hands-on experience in the field.

The Diploma in Business Administration and Office Administration programs last 52 weeks each and are designed by experts from the Canadian local industries. The courses offer training in a variety of subjects and develop corresponding skills and knowledge of the business field and office environment. The 90-week Diploma program in Business Management is also available. The PG Diploma program in Project Management prepares students to manage complex projects. They are introduced to the skills needed to move a project through conceptualization, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing. It is worth mentioning, that the program`s curriculum is designed in collaboration with industry and closely following the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge guidelines.

The Diploma program in Computing Support at Fair College introduces students to basic computing support functions and provides knowledge about all the areas related to it. They have an opportunity to get a general overview of computing support, learn more about technical and non-technical aspects related to it. The course also provides the essential skills and knowledge needed to compete in the dynamic and changing computing environment of the globalized world. The PG Diploma programs in the Enterprise Network Engineering and Systems Testing Engineering prepare students to manage complex computer networks, design, setup and manage computer enterprise networks. The curriculum is also designed in collaboration with the industry and the current needs of the Canadian job market.

In collaboration with Lester B. Pearson School Board, Flair College of Management and Technology offers a Pathway program in Computing Support. It allows students of the FCMT to be accepted into the Computing Support Diploma at the Lester B. Pearson School Board. After successful completion of the one-year Computing support program at Flair College of Management and Technology students are able to complete the balance of the competencies needed to obtain the Quebec Diploma of Vocational Studies in Computing Support.

FCMT’s one-year English for Academic Purposes Certificate program is developed for students who wish to improve their academic language skills for Canadian educational and professional environments. The course provides them with a strong foundation in academic oral and written communication for further postsecondary opportunities. It is worth mentioning, that successful graduates of this program gain entry into other regular programs offered by Flair College of Management and Technology.
