The purpose of the Evergreen College Academic Preparation Course (APC) is to prepare international students for success in their diploma program and introduce them to the business culture of North America. The program allows the students to prepare themselves for academic content pursuit and teaches them how to be successful in their job and workplace. The course duration is four weeks that include topics such as Resumes, Ethics, Relationship Building, and Career Success.

The program is based on a person-centred care approach and can be completed in eight hours. Moreover, the instructors are trained and certified by Advanced Gerontological Education Inc.
Admission Requirements
International students who want to study at Evergreen College must complete the step-by-step guide.
- You have to apply online by selecting “Request Info” on the web page of the chosen study program. You need to fill out the form, and the admission counsellor will contact you.
- You should send academic transcripts, a copy of your passport, and English Language Proficiency Test scores to the admission counsellors. It is recommended but not required to submit a personal essay. All your documents issued in languages other than English have to be accompanied by a literal, notarized English translation.
- You need to pay the non-refundable application fee of 500 CAD.
- The admission counsellors will review your application and help you to find the best study program. Also, they will tell you more about the benefits of internships and job opportunities of your selected program. If it is applicable, you may be required to take the admission test.
- When you are accepted to Evergreen College, you will receive an Approval Statement and a Letter of Acceptance. Then, you need to apply for a Canadian study permit.
