The course is focused on advanced English writing, speaking, reading, and listening skills. The course also aims to prepare international students for passing the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

The purpose of the Evergreen College Academic Preparation Course (APC) is to prepare international students for success in their diploma program and introduce them to the business culture of North America. The program allows the students to prepare themselves for academic content pursuit and teaches them how to be successful in their job and workplace. The course duration is four weeks that include topics such as Resumes, Ethics, Relationship Building, and Career Success.

Corporate Training programs are customized according to your needs. The programs are available in various areas, such as Business Management, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Graphics Design, Speaking, Finance, Information Technology, Workplace Health and Safety, Human Resource, Advanced Electrician, Logistics, Travel Agent, and Forklift Training. CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training lasts two days and equips students and employees with effective strategies for safely diffusing de-escalation of risk behaviours or even disruptive behaviours.

The Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) program is an innovative dementia care education program developed for healthcare staff. The program is based on a person-centred care approach and can be completed in eight hours. Moreover, the instructors are trained and certified by Advanced Gerontological Education Inc.

Admission Requirements

International students who want to study at Evergreen College must complete the step-by-step guide.

  1. You have to apply online by selecting “Request Info” on the web page of the chosen study program. You need to fill out the form, and the admission counsellor will contact you.
  2. You should send academic transcripts, a copy of your passport, and English Language Proficiency Test scores to the admission counsellors. It is recommended but not required to submit a personal essay. All your documents issued in languages other than English have to be accompanied by a literal, notarized English translation.
  3. You need to pay the non-refundable application fee of 500 CAD.
  4. The admission counsellors will review your application and help you to find the best study program. Also, they will tell you more about the benefits of internships and job opportunities of your selected program. If it is applicable, you may be required to take the admission test.
  5. When you are accepted to Evergreen College, you will receive an Approval Statement and a Letter of Acceptance. Then, you need to apply for a Canadian study permit.
  6. When you get the study permit, you have to contact the Admission Office and pay the tuition fee for your chosen study program.

Some study programs at Evergreen College are competitive, and international students are required to meet additional requirements. You can be asked to submit supporting documents, including references, resumes, and interviews.

If you want to participate in the homestay program, you should contact the college and pay the one-time application fee of 150 CAD. Then, the counsellor will help you to find the perfect host family. Evergreen College also has an airport pick-up service that costs 100 CAD.

On average, you need to have 13,000 CAD per year to cover additional expenses during the study at Evergreen College. International students should be prepared to pay for housing and meals 10,200 CAD per year, health insurance 800 CAD per year, books and supplies 1,050 CAD per year.
