Coquitlam College (CC) is a private post-secondary institution, established in 1982 in Coquitlam, British Columbia. The College is proud to be authorized by the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education to grant degrees in a wide range of programs. It was among the first colleges in the province to participate in the BC Transfer program.
Since 2018, Coquitlam College has two campuses, the first is located in the Coquitlam neighborhood and the second is in Surrey, in the heart of one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities.
With the reputation of one of the best Canadian Colleges, CC attracts thousands of students every year. Many of them come from abroad as Coquitlam is known for its English language studies, accredited by Languages Canada, and advanced Transfer programs. Graduates of Coquitlam have all the chances to enter the best North American universities.

Coquitlam College offers its students high school programs for Grades 10, 11, and 12. All programs are certified by the Independent Schools Branch of the Ministry of Education of the Province of British Columbia.
Dogwood Diploma allows students to enter the first year at all the top universities in Canada and the United States. A choice of courses includes Biology, Chemistry, Communication, Comparative Civilization, Drama, Film and Television, Economics, Financial Accounting, Geography, History, Physical Education, Planning, Precalculus, Science, Science and Technology, Social Studies. Students of Dogwood Diploma program can receive advanced credit by taking university courses while they complete high school.
Coquitlam College students who are 18 years of age or older may complete their high school requirements in the BC Adult Graduation Program and complete five High School courses. This program allows adult students a more concentrated course of study, that can last as little as one or two semesters. High School Graduation Diploma awarded at the end of this program is accepted for first-year university studies at all public and private colleges in British Columbia. Students may also enter the second year at top universities in Canada and the United States
Students of the Advanced Program at Coquitlam College take four obligatory high school courses and a provincial exam. This program is designed for highly motivated and capable learners under the age of 19 who want to begin their university studies as soon as possible.
Associate of Arts degree at Coquitlam College consists of at least 60 credits of University Transferable courses. The graduates can be transferred into the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree at leading Canadian and US universities. A choice of courses offered includes Accounting, Business, Economics, English, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Statistics.
Students who choose the Associate of Arts degree program are allowed to work off-campus on a part-time basis. Full-time graduates can apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit. It is also worth mentioning, that many Canadian universities give priority admission to Associate Degree holders.
Coquitlam College also offers one-year programs in Arts, Business, and Science. The certificate gained at the end of this program allows graduates to enter directly into the second year of study at the university. Two-year diploma programs in Arts and Business give students the chance to enter directly into the third year of study at the university of their choice.
The English Language programs at Coquitlam College are accredited by Languages Canada. At the beginning of any program, learners are asked to pass the test that helps to determine the best suitable level of studies for them. The choice of courses includes Academic English, Business Conversation, English Proficiency, Study Skills, Writing, TOEFL or IELTS Preparation, and Reading and Response. The English Certificate program is focused on the development of Conversation, Grammar, and Reading skills, it is also suitable for Writing and IELTS preparation.

Coquitlam College is proud of its own Homestay program. It guarantees students a safe and friendly environment. All homestay families are carefully selected and monitored by the representatives of the College. For students who are under 19 years of age, a host family can sign as their custodian. This is necessary for a study permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
Coquitlam Homestay program includes a close location to the College, a private room, Internet, laundry, and three meals per day. Homestay Fee is 1,100 CAD per month (including meals). Airport Pick-Up is available.
